crayola
This movie, I'm assuming, is from the 1930s-1960s. I saw it on TCM a few years ago. It is in black and white. I never got a chance to finish the movie but I remember watching it and finding it interesting. The story basically revolves around a family and the wife and husband (girl and guy, not sure about realationship). The wife tries to kill the husband inconspicuously. One attempt involved her messing with his car. The man goes to the garage to fetch his car but it breaks and there's smoke everywhere. He tries to escape but the doors are locked. He nearly suffocates but somehow manages to get the door open. thank you Edited by: crayola on Feb 9, 2012 8:08 PM
FredCDobbs
Sounds like "Shadow of a Doubt", 1943 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0036342/ It's the girl who gets locked in the garage. There is smoke everywhere. She is the niece, and the man is her uncle, both in a large family. Someone finally comes and breaks open the doors and gets her out. There were several other carbon monoxide and garage movies.
