Elaine56
Does anyone know if John Sweet 1922-2011 was the man who narrated those travelogue guides that appear on TCM from time to time. Also what is the real name of those episodes that appear to have been filmed before and during WWII? Thank you Elaine
hlywdkjk
Hello Elaine - The "travelogues" that appear most often on TCM are "James FitzPatrick's TravelTalks". Well over 200 "TravelTalks" were made by FitzPatrick, the majority for MGM. He narrated his films himself. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about John Sweet or his work. The only listing for a John Sweet in the TCMDatabase is for an actor who appeared in the 1944 film *A Canterbury Tale*.
