Hibi
I missed part of 20,000 Years in Sing Sing last night. Who actually did the shooting? I missed about 10 mins (the most impt part of the movie) so I wasnt sure who was lying at the end.........
Sepiatone
I missed that part, too. But my money's on Bette. Spencer usually was the kind of guy to take the fall for the one he loves. Me? I'd let the be-yotch FRY! Sepiatone

FredCDobbs
This was re-made in 1940 as "Castle on the Hudson", with John Garfield and Ann Sheridan. Almost scene for scene and word for word.
Arturo
*I think that may be the only time they were in a film together.....* And the only reason they were in a film together is because Cagney was on strike for more money from WB, so the studio borrowed Tracy from Fox Films. Arturo
*Yes, RO mentioned that at the end of the film........I missed his beginning intro.......* I didn't see it the other night, but I really enjoy this movie. Another great movie Cagney didn't do for the same reason was I WAS A FUGITIVE FROM A CHAIN GANG. Of course, Muni got it and did a great job. DownGoesFrazier
Could anyone have envisioned at the time that the two of them would go on to be considered arguably the greatest male and female actors in Hollywood history?
