Jim and Laurie get as far as New Orleans when she finds out the truth and wants nothing to do with it and leaves.Jim has second thoughts about it all and wants to return the money before Monday and get on with his life. DownGoesFrazier
Surprised to hear that Teresa Wright ever starred in a noir.
Bilgewasser
She's still playing the sensitive supporting woman she is known for playing. This time she's been "promoted" from Joseph Cotten's niece to his wife. I wouldn't call this a great film, but it is a good one, the old good guy tempted to go bad who makes the final right decision close call scenario.
