Help: Movie about a Jewish boy ( about 7-9 0r10 yrs old)

I can not recall the title or actors in this movie. I saw around the 80's, around the Nazie's era. The boy was around 7-9 years old. The movie starts , as his parents are capture and they are taken on a wagon. He is running behind the wagon. The parents denounce him, to spare him. He goes to an orphange. He goes thru alot of mischeifts. At a pond, he goes under water, to hide from people ,so he would not be adopted. Than he is staying at a farm, when he sees a girl and boy, making love, he throws water at them. Remebering that the farmer, had done that to seperate the farmer animals. There is alot a humor,and enjoyable. I hope some one has seen it.
