ERROL23
Tommy Woodry(Bobby Driscoll)is a little boy whos always telling tall tales. His parents,Mary(Barbra Hale)and Ed(Arthur Kennedy)are trying in vain to break him of it. One night Tommy looks in the window of the Kellersons(Paul Stewart and Ruth Roman) the people who live upstair, and see them murder a sailor and steal his money.Tommy tells his folks who laugh it off thinking its another one of his stories and warn him to stop.Tommy goes to the police who also laugh it off thinking hes reading too many comics. When his mother finds out she makes Tommy say hes sorry to the Kellersons, who of course believe his story. This is one great Film Noir. DONT MISS.
BigFanOfClassics
I've seen it a few times. Wonderful use of darkness, shadows, suspense, and excellent acting!
