bhryun
I thought I'd post this topic b/c although I figured everyone knew about this site, clearly we get so many questions here which could easily be answered by a visit to internetmoviedatabase.com (also works as imdb.com). You can search by title (e.g. "what year was 'Sunny' released?) , by star if you know someone was in a film but don't know its title - that kind of stuff. Also has external (critcss) and internal (users) reviews and links to credits, not just the stars but writers, directors, editors, etc. An invaluable source of infomration. kenwal34
decotoddla, Its true that many of us do know about IMDB. They do provide all that you stated. However there are posters such as Mongo,Coffeedan, patypancake, feiato and others, with knowledge that goes far beyond the scope of IMDB. These people KNOW films and know how to research them.I go to IMDB for general info, and for everything else I call on them. Ken.
richardny4me
I always wondered, who updates IMDB? It is so detailed!
brackenhe
Yes, Ken--such as the info about Ross Alexander. I had been trying to find out info about him and IMDB just didn't have what Mongo had. But I do find IMDB invaluable when I see little shown films and want to see what others think of it. But TCM has shown some that just recently have been entered and reviewed for IMDB, so GO TCM. THE BEST MOVIE CHANNEL ON TV.
