bhryun
Does anyone know the title and/or artist of a song that is played between movies? The singer sounds a little like Sting, but his voice is raspier. The song has a slow, slightly rock-ish melody. It sounds like it may be for the last 10 years or even more recent. classicsfan1119
It's "possible" that you're asking about "Look for the Silver Lining", which was recorded in 1954 by Chet Baker. TCM uses it in the mornings as a lead-in to movies, and you will see "The Sunny Side of Life" at the very end of this piece. Does this sound right to you? ;ML
bhryun
I know that song. This is one that they just starting playing recently. It's definitely a more recent song. I do love "Look for the Silver Lining"
brackenhe
I know what you're talking about. They have been playing it while they show what TCM is featuring this month. It does kind of have a Sting feel to it, but it's not him.
