I am trying to find the title of a movie which was shown on TCM on the same day that they had shown "Only Angels Have Wings," which was I believe was in January or February of this year.

It was kind of a zany/slapstic musical which had a scene in it where several men are making passes at this woman who was singing a song that had a line in it "I like Chicago 'cause it's so phony;" other than that I didn't try to remember anything else about the movie because I thought I had recorded it.

Any suggestions?

There's no way I know of unless someone printed and kept an old schedule. But you know, TCM-ites are pretty good at spotting a movie if you give as much info on it as possible. Anything you remember from the plot? Was it color or B&W, was that woman blonde, brunette, red-head? Can you narrow it down to a decade, did it seem 30's, 40's, 50's, ...ya know? If you title the thread " Help with movie title!" and give as much info as possible, people will check and try and help.Just a heads up- maybe if you can give a tad more info we can solve your mystery..

Keep in mind that on January 21, they paid tribute to one of the stars that passed away so the lineup was not the following at least during the day......I remember this because I really wanted to tape "Elmer The Great"
