lavenderblue19
#2. One of the locations in the film is NY. this has gone to page 2. This is not an obsecure film. #3. she sees and overhears the man she's engaged to cheating on her.
DownGoesFrazier
I basically cannot match your clues to the films as I remember them, so, in exasperation, I'm guessing the non-obscure films of: 2----AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER 3-----BELOVED INFIDEL It can't be SEPARATE TABLES. BONJOUR TRISTESSE is not partly set in NY.
lavenderblue19
*Bonjour Tristeste* is not set in NY, *BUT* *An Affair To Remember * is, you read it wrong I wrote #2 for that clue. You "rememberence" of these films leaves a lot to be desired. If you knew the films you'd know the clues are *PERFECT*
DownGoesFrazier
So, to me, the films ARE obscure.
lavenderblue19
OMG! *An Affair To Remember* is OBSECURE????? You need toi watch more movies.

lavenderblue19
This was the *MOST FRUSTRATING* thread in my almost 5 years of being here. #3. is OBVIOUS if you saw the film. YOU ruled out the correct answer for #3. #3. *SHE COMMITS SUICIDE*
DownGoesFrazier
3---BONJOUR TRISTESSE Once again, I'm going to have to mention that I don't have complete recall of films I may have seen once, ten years ago.
lavenderblue19
That's too bad because these were all *GREAT* films and *Bonjour Tristese* is hard to forget. The first time I saw the film was on TV when I was 13. Years later I then I saw the film at a screening I was invited to at MoMa. Then many, many years later I watched it on TCM and remembered all of it. Your thread.
