Just got home from a Wonderful Mothers Day Celebration.

 

Sorry, Edythe neither film, different actor

 

#4. He changes his mind about a woman and falls in love

 

An extra clue- The actor is younger than all those guessed. so far, Garfield, Rathbone,Rains, Wilde, Andrews or Webb.

The woman he falls for, accepts the other man's proposal, then changes her mind

The woman he falls for has a son

Some scenes are in a department store

Her son really likes him, dislikes the other guy

 

#4. He goes to jail for killing a man

He was protecting a friend

He's now out of prison

He changes his mind about a woman and falls in love

He has a son

His son overhears the details of why his father goes to prison, his father explains that he killed the

man who was was going to kill his friend, he shot him in the back.
