bhryun
HEY MONGO AND EVERYONE ELSE, CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE NAME OF A WESTERN/WILDERNESS TYPE MOVIE THAT I BELIEVE WAS MADE IN THE 70'S. IT WAS ABOUT FUR TRAPPERS TRAVELING UP A RIVER ON A LARGE BOAT. ONE OF THE TRAPPERS IS MAULED BY A BEAR AND LEFT FOR DEAD. HE SURVIVES AND WALKS OUT OF THE WILDERNESS TO FIND HIS BOATMATES STRANDED IN A DRIED UP RIVER AND BATTLING INDIANS. I DON'T REMEMBER WHO THE ACTORS WERE. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME WITH THIS.
shainablue1
Could this be 1971's Man In The Wilderness? I have listed an inmd.com link for you to check it out. Sounds like it! http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0067388/
lzcutter
There were a number of mountain men westerns made in the 1970s. Man in the Wilderness (which has been mentioned), Man Called Horse (starring Richard Harris) and the sequel, The Return of a Man Called Horse. Hope this helps.
