susuhigh
Has anyone ever seen this movie on DVD or VHS? I really would like it on DVD. Thanks, Susu
shainablue1
This movie was never released on VHS or DVD. There are off the TV copies available if you just enter the movie title and "vhs" into a search engine, but their quality would be not the best. Your best bet is to wait for TCM to play it again and tape it yourself. Hope this info helped. : )
knnhon
i hope that you got to see this 'sleeper' on TCM this week. I was totally unaware that this Frederic March flim was 'out' there. I was so pleasantly surprised with this film. On Classmates-movie group, there is an on-going discussion on this fine film. On IMDB, there is a great little revue by a person who obviously sees the theme of this movie. To me this could have been a flop, but the stereo-types were thankfully absent. What my question is: Is this a true story? It just seems to me that thre are so many points of history in this film... it would seem very likely that it could be true...One can easily see why Mr. march would be a natural for "Best Years of Our Lives", five years later.
