kevshrop
TCM is showing IT'S A DOG'S LIFE again, Saturday, September 8 at 5 a.m. (CDST). I've never seen it, but I want to since its music soundtrack was included with the recent LASSIE COME HOME: The Canine Cinema Collection from Film Score Monthly and Screen Archive Entertainment. This soundtrack from IT'S A DOG'S LIFE was composed and conducted by Elmer Bernstein, and it's in beautiful stereo sound. I'm hoping the actual movie will be too. Anyone else going to see it? It's not a Lassie movie, but the hero is a dog. Edited by: kevshrop on Sep 7, 2012 3:50 PM
TopBilled
I like this movie! I think it's one of Edmund Gwenn's last screen performances, if not the last. The dog reminds me of those fun Spuds MacKenzie beer commercials of the 80s!
kevshrop
Wow. I saw it today. Edmund Gwenn was always wonderful. This was not a bad movie. Very live-action Disney-like, in a way.
