ERROL23
Good stort on the life of singer/actess Texas Guinan(Betty Hutton)From her years as a poor Irish child with parents(Barry Fitzgerald/Mary Phillips),her years working in a rodeo, her loveless marriage to shifty reporter,Tim Callahan(Bill Goodwin),her Hollywood years in the Silent Film Era,her years during Prohibition as a singer/entertainer in gangster run nightclubs,to her death in 1933.She never got what she really wanted in life, her true love,Bill Kilgannon(Arturo De Cordova) http://www.impawards.com/1945/incendiary_blonde.html Diane Lane in Cotton Club)Gladys George in Roaring Twenties and Untochables episode,The Larry Fay Story(June Havoc)were all based on Texas. Ann Sothern,Ann Sheridan, and Betty Grable would have been good picks to..(Note Ann Sheridan was considered in The Roaring Twenties, but was replaced by Gladys.)
