So very sorry about this terrible error on my part. Miss de Havilland is indeed very much alive and is one of our greatest actresses. Thanks so much for catching this.

Rebel Without A Cause (1955)

*Not that death is ever easy, but it's said the three main stars in this film died tragic deaths. Ironically too, (since they played rebel teens in this film) they all died on the younger side of their lives.

- James Dean (car accident)

- Natalie Wood ("accidental" drowning; b.s. I still say murder)

- Sal Mineo (murdered)

- Jim Backus

- Ann Doran

- Dennis Hopper

- Corey Allen

- William Hopper

- Rochelle Hudson

- Edward Platt

- Nick Adams

- Virginia Brissac

Reading through the various posts on the thread pages I wanted to mention that JOHN ERICSON from "BAD DAY AT BLACK ROCK" (1955) is still alive through April 15, 2016 at age 89.  I believe 'MarshaKatz' listed 'Bad Day' on Page 4 of, but Mr. Ericson is still among us at present.

From the opening scene Jimmy Durante (Smiler Grogan), Charles McGraw (Detective) and Norman Fell (Detective) are gone, too.

Among the plethora of of guest stars Carl Reiner is still alive and so is Jerry Lewis, who ran over Tracy's hat.

Thank you, Mr. Gorman, for keeping track of my posts. I'll make sure not to post "Executive Suite" again in this category.

Oh, and before I forget, yes I do enjoy "Executive Suite". Good plot, good cast, good director, good film.

I wouldn't say that I was keeping track, MK, it's just that when I was reading back through this thread I noted your two posts on the same page in regards to 'EXECUTIVE SUITE' and its cast.  When I saw your post yesterday I figured you must like the movie or it wouldn't be on your mind.

--------------------------------------

How 'bout a 1970s movie where the starring adults are pushing up daisies along with the director, producer, director of cinematography, screenplay writer?

Director:  Martin Ritt

Producer:  Ray Stark

Director of Cinematography:  John A. Alonzo

Screenplay:  Carol Sobieski

     Starring:

Thanks, Mr. Gorman. I do truly enjoy the movie "Executive Suite" and you're quite right, it's one of the movies that I think about quite often, which is probably the reason why I've posted it in this category as often as I have. I didn't realize it myself until you mentioned it, so thank you very much.

Here's a movie from 1948 (one which I also like very much) which is a terrific noir western and coincidentally is directed by Robert Wise who directed "Executive Suite".

Blood On The Moon

Robert Mitchum

Barbara Bel Geddes

Robert Preston

Walter Brennan

Phyllis Thaxter

Frank Faylen

Charles McGraw

Tom Tully

Robert Bray

Tom Tyler

Robert Howard "Clifton" Young

Tom Keene

Bud Osborne

Zon Murray

BTW, thanks, Mr. Gorman, for your post of "Casey's Shadow" which is one of my favorite movies directed by Martin Ritt, one of my favorite directors. I believe this movie was called "a sleeper" when it was originally released. It's a marvelous film.
