Im4movies2
A few years ago I suggested here that TCM have a series of films where the main character had a disability or a film's subject dealt with some form of handicapping condition. I am delighted to learn that such a series of films will be coming soon. Thank you TCM.

casablancalover2
I agree. I also liked Bright Victory, but I will be looking forward to see The Best Years of Our Lives too.
sfpcc1
Would Mental illness be considered a handicap? (for the TCM films to be condidered.) Maybe that's another ball of wax?
casablancalover2
Actually, I believe it will touch on that, for if I am not mistaken there will be One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and Random Harvest. When I heard about it, I thought of The Hurt Locker at first. The emotional injuries of war. Late entry.
