misswonderly3
Can anyone tell me how to get those "titles" or "headings" people put over their posts? Know what I mean? I wouldn't mind doing that sometimes, but I have no idea how.
lzcutter
MsW, I'd like to help but I'm not sure what you are referring to. Sorry.
slaytonf
Like that. You can even do it yourself, it won't change the thread's origninal title, unless you edit it.
misswonderly3
But I've tried that before, and it didn't work. We'll see as soon as I hit "post".
misswonderly3
It worked ! I think what I was doing before, was, typing in my "substitute heading" in that "Tag" field. Which I also don't understand, but it doesn't matter. Thanks, db, as well as slayton and lynn for responding to my question. Lynn, see what I was talking about now? The temporary "replacement topic" line above the post - where the actual thread topic title normally goes.
DownGoesFrazier
Some of the funniest stuff on these boards are the new headings. I never do it, but I should try. Most of the time, I don't read them. I should.

Usually to make the heading more related to my post if a topic has drifted from the subject of the original heading (and sometimes I'll even correct typos or misspellings in headings I'm responding to!) And of course, sometimes just to insert an occasional lame attempt at humor...
