johnbabe Posted September 29, 2012 Share Posted September 29, 2012 i like Bacall but let us face it, she always played the same part, in the same voice, etc..i think her movies with Bogie were great because he made them so - she is an average actress, certainly talented and exotic looking, but she is not on the level of Garbo, Davis, Crawford Hepburn or Bergman - anyway who is? most of the films they are showing only received 1 or 2 star ratings, even the one with the Duke was not all that great except for the Duke.
