Jake's Blast from the Past...

I remember that back in the 60s, we used to call a convertible VW Bug a "pregnant rollerskate." My grandmother had a lime green '63 bug with a sun roof, and airconditioning. The AC was almost poured in over the engine. My GM told me that they had to remove the AC to change the oil filter!

That reminds me of another old Bug joke...


A couple buy a new VW. He looks under the 'hood,' and exclaims "This car doesn't have an engine!" She hollers back "That's okay, there's a spare one in the trunk!"
