WHO???

I don't see anything on your first two posts.

Could you have left a space in front of your first exclamation point?

A space in front of a line of text will keep the text from showing up, and it might be the same with photos too.

Besure there is no space in front.

Metz, try this code (disregard the underline). Post your photo's URL address after the = sign.

You can copy and paste this to see if it will show a photo for you.

Metz, you left off the last right-pointing arrow in your code. That's why your photo doesn't show up.

I'm here to teach you how to post photos, not to play your game about faces.

You will either learn how to do it right, or not at all. Or perhaps someone else can help you.

Now go back and add that last right arrow just after jpg

Your photo still did not show up.

I copied and pasted your exact same code and for me the photo shows up.

But, it looks to me like you are using the RICH TEXT format box for your posts.

I use the PLAIN TEXT.

Try making your post again, with the same code, while using the PLAIN TEXT posting box.

Click on Reply to make a post and you'll see the words RICH TEXT and PLAIN TEXT at the top of the blank posting box. Click on PLAIN TEXT first, and then paste your photo code, then post the message and we'll see what happens.

Try posting the same photo code, with the left and right pointing arrows, but while using the PLAIN TEXT posting box.

Ok, I just ran a test using RICH TEXT.

I copied the same photo code that you last posted just below, and it did NOT show up as a photo in my RICH TEXT post.

So, that might be part of the problem. I've always had trouble copying and pasting to a RICH TEXT box, since it doesn't seem to want to do the right thing with copied and pasted stuff.

So, try pasting the same photo code using the PLAIN TEXT box for your post and hopefully it will finally show up as a photo.

TO FRED C DOBBS

the military looking chap is Lucien Prival

In films from 1929 to 1943, character actor Lucien Prival was able to parlay his vocal and physical resemblance to Erich von Stroheim into a sizeable screen career. Prival was at his most Stroheim-like in war films, notably Hell's Angels (1930), in which his Baron Von Kranz both set the plot in motion and brought things to a conclusion. He went on to play Teutonic menaces in films ranging from Sherlock Holmes (1932) and Return of Chandu (1934). Horror fans will remember Lucien Prival as the ill-tempered butler in James Whale's The Bride of Frankenstein (1935). ~

now who is the suave looking character ?
