That's Jean Arthur.

She was star of a Broadway production of "Peter Pan" in 1950-1951.

But that's a 1930's Paramount still of a much younger Jean Arthur. Not sure why she'd have posed in that costume way back then unless possibly Paramount was considering remaking their silent 1924 version and took publicity stills but then didn't make the movie.

And Captain Hook is Boris Karloff.

You are right, musicalnovelty. I just did a little research after seeing your response. It's amazing how many Peter Pans there have been. Traditionally, Peter has been played by women on stage and boys or men on film. Jean Arthur played the role on Broadway around 1950, but her costume was completely different from the one in the previous photo. Take a look.

I certainly wouldn't recognize her with that hair. Here is an interesting pictorial history of Peter Pan.

And they left out Robin Williams in "Hook".

I don't know myself, musical. I posted it for metz - don't have a clue ?:|

I take that back. I just had a look-see and it is Ralph Peters. Good job musical :D

I guess metz is taking a short break so I'll just hang out till he gets back.
