wmcki76058
Cary Grant definitely. Though Gregory Peck is a honey.
shainablue1
Both scrumptious. Can't pick.
kenwal34
Can not choose Both are great in their own fashion.
nooshsaz
Grant. Only because i am yet to see a Peck.
bhryun
Well, nooshsaz, I suggest you watch a Gregory Peck film, preferably Cape Fear or To Kill a Mockingbird (which are classics in my book.) Have you seen any Robert Mitchum?
happyowl55
I think it's marvelous that we don't have to choose. Vive la TCM. Can watch all the greaties all the time!!!!
nooshsaz
Thanx Holly. I am familiar with his movies except i have never got around to seeing them...thanx for the tip.
bhryun
In my humble opinion Grant beats Peck but Peck runs a close second. If you want to see a really good Peck movie try Gentlemen's Agreement. Its theme, which is bigotry, is timeless. Have fun.
jwbear
While I like them both for their own sake... Cary Grant transcends the medium and has had no equal since or possibly ever. Grant's not only a great actor (as is Gregory Peck) but he's an icon!
bhryun
Cary Grant will always be my number 1 choice over anyone I can think of!
allycat1920
that's a really tough question. I love both. I guess if it came down to it I would go with Grant just because he was in more of my favorite movies the Peck was. Plus Grant is much better at comedy, and everyone loves to laugh
bhryun
Neither.....I'd pick Marlon Brando.
bhryun
this is a really tough choice because I like them both for very different reasons. Gregory Peck I love but he is more of a serious actor, a fatherly type. I loved him in "The Keys of the Kingdom" ," To Kill a Mockingbird" , "Capitan Horatio Hornblower" "Mackenna's Gold" and "Roman Holiday" and a movie I think was called "The Sea Wolves" to name a few.. Cary Grant (to me) is completely different (funny, romantic) Out of the two I think I liked more Cary Grant movies though but for different reasons. Some of Cary Grant movies I love are "Mr Blandings Builds His Dream House" "Father Goose" and "An Affair to Remember." Just my humble opinion =)
bhryun
I love them both!
bhryun
Cary Grant! What I love about him is that he is very versatile-he is great at comedy and drama. Not many actors have the ability to be able to do both. Gregory Peck is good too though.

bhryun
Cary Grant, hands down. Though I like Peck also.
bhryun
Although Peck was an outstanding and stellar action, Cary hands down!
bhryun
Gregory Peck. This reporter once knew a man named Greg and I would call him Gregory Peckerey and he would say to this reporter what the #*%!?
leobertucelli
So silly to compare both these fine actors--each had their own style -something sorely lacking today with that crop of boreing - same type expressions. Gabel had his share of facial expressions BUT he was so very watchable; know what I mean?
classicsfan1119
I might "know what you mean", Leo, if I knew WHO you mean. Are you talking about Clark GABLE? ;)ML
russalabama
I'd say Grant is the obvious choice since. But, I think Peck had a greater range and portrayed more interesting characters. For example, Spellbound, The Snows of Killimenjaro (sp?). To me, Peck seems to inhabit the character more than Grant. So, my final choice is Peck. I love 'em both and it is a tough choice, however. brackenhe
But Leo this thread is about Cary Grant or Gregory Peck. Gable is watchable but he's not the topic of this thread. I'm convinced you're drunk when you post here.
