rmvsmith2
Yes a 'women-only' cast...but please look closely...George Cukor is dressed in drag ; you can find him in the hall dressing room after the fashion show.
AndyM108
Perhaps Cukor was being cast as the otherwise unseen *Mr.* "Prowler," just trying to escape from Rosalind Rusell's view for a look at what his next Saks bill was going to be buying. willbefree25
Darn, I missed that. I never realized, however, it was such a sexist and racist picture. Had to turn it off.
sfpcc1
*Spoiler Alert* I saw the much maligned remake. The way they showed to only male in the movie was kind of clever. At the end of the movie a character gives birth. The child is a boy.
Kicks
Like many movies I think you need to take this in the context of the times and, besides, it's great to have a laugh at it! It's such a terrific cast. Rosalind Russell is a hoot, such an off the wall character she plays, such bizarre outfits! Dialogue is wonderful, witty, entertaining and yes, catty.
