Jamie
I had seen this when I was a lot younger than I am now. *sigh* Anyway, it is in B&W, there are a group of men and women inside a haunted house (?) and a couple-husband and wive I believe-separate from the group to investigate on their own. He is on one side of the wall, she on the other. They knock in various areas, suddenly hitting a "hollow" spot. She turns around to discover a corpse (hideous) looking at her and she screams and that "thing" floats away. I also remember something about a black hole and someone falling in. ~~~ Gee, I think I remembered more than I thought! Please help! Thanks! ~Jamie
bhryun
House on Haunted Hill, with Vincent Price. The couple weren't married, they were visitors at the place. They have to stay there to win a certain sum of money (I forgot how much). Hope this helps.

bhryun
Catherine Zeta-Jones was in The Haunting, not House on Haunted Hill. You're welcome.
slappy3500
The original Robert Wise "The Haunting" is about 5 or 6 HUNDRED times better. (BUT Claire Bloom, for all her fine acting can't hold a candle to Catharine Zeta Jones, drool)
