Oh, that face, that fabulous face II - Post 1950's. Whose is it?

Recommended Posts

I'm inclined to doubt it Britt Ekland was a blonde, married to Peter Sellers. She doesn't look anything like the woman in the photo.

A clue to my photo. is "That 70's Girl in The 60's" How I labeled the pic. British actress, very distinctive accent. I thought about giving one other major hint, but it gives her away.

Britt was a blonde, however if you go to some photo websites ( I just checked) you will see that photo of Britt Ekland is there. I'll recheck the site and post it for you. I just typed in Britt Ekland on Yahoo. The first site is Photos of Britt Ekland, click more images, then 4 rows down is the photo of Britt. It's her face, no mistake.

Note that a lot of those 'images' websites for a specific star often have other people in them. I don't know why that is the case. Sometimes there is a connection between the two (e.g. a Fontaine photo on the Olivia images site), but often there is not. I think anyone can post pictures on these sites and thus they do the above to either 'mess with us' or because they are confused.

I don't know who it is but she is nice to look at. I should of stated that in my prior post. The main reason I posted what I did was because I'm building my own photo library of my favorite stars. When I see pictures of someone that are clearly NOT the star, it throws me for a loop. e.g. in the Olivia DeHavilliand site there are pictures of Olivia Newton John! Oh it is a strange world. :)

Holy uncredited photos... That photo is, I believe, Britt Ekland from Vittorio De Sica's 1966 flick "After the Fox": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/After_the_Fox

Ekland plays Peter Seller's sister in the film and both characters are supposed to be Italian.

Thus the dark hair for Ekland.

Check out a few photos of Ekland from the film here: http://avaxhome.ws/video/vittorio_de_sica_caccia_alla_volpe_1966.html

Note the earring Ekland is wearing in this photo from the film: http://pixhost.me/pictures/1387877

Looks the same as she is wearing in the photo posted below: http://www.allstarpics.net/0000810/010146518/britt-ekland-pic.html

Another photo from "After the Fox" of Ekland: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Press-Photo-Peter-Sellers-Britt-Ekland-After-Fox-/390517147348?pt=Art_Photo_Images&hash=item5aeca2c6d4&ssPageName=RSS:B:SHOP:US:101

Another photo of Ekland made-up to appear Italian from that movie here:

Anyway, think somebody better start posting semi-naked photos of male film stars to balance things out...
