Oh, that face, that fabulous face II - Post 1950's. Whose is it?

I hate to sound like Goldilocks but I wish there was a thread about these fabulous faces that was 'just right'.

The initial one started to focus on silent movie stars and I only know a handful of them. This thread is now focused on NON studio era actors. Most of the time I can guess who it is right off the bat, but I really don't care much for these actors to begin with.

Thus my porridge is either too hot or too cold! :) But I'll survive.

You make an excellent point.

I know. The difficulty here is (both threads), you either know them or you don't. There's not much in the gray area(s). One major credit to the studio era's side is having to do the research - win or lose, so to speak. For some of us (more, I would hope) the discovery process is more valuable than immediate knowledge. For me it's not the knowing, or not, who the silent actress is that piques my interest, it's the chase. The more time and effort you put into it the more proficient you become at sifting through the massive amounts of information - then it becomes fun.

I'm baffled at the last photo too. I'm beginning to think someone tagged this pic with the wrong name because it don't look nuttin' like who 'they' say it is. All I can say now is, this isn't Jimi Hendrix :)

dpompper; I agree with you, both Kid , Fred & others have put in a great deal of time and excellent knowledge and if anything we should be grateful to them.

No one has to play if they don't want to, so not to worry, right !
