"burning my britches behind me"

I wrote down this quote when watching a Laurel and Hardy film on TCM (not sure if it was a short or feature, sound or silent). Does anyone know which film it's from? It was probably said by Stan Laurel -- sounds like him. For me, this quote sort of sums up the comic genius of this duo!

*Unaccustomed As We Are (1929)* - Laurel and Hardy

...but Ollie, anxious to get the trunk out of the apartment, assures his wife that "she has broken the camel's back once too often" and that he is packed and leaving for South America. "And I'm burning my bridges behind me!," he declares. Stan does not understand and Ollie repeats the statement. "Oh," Stan says, "I thought you said britches."
