Facebook page "Pre-Code Movies" https://www.facebook.com/PreCodeMovies

has a link to this 1933 publication titled "What Shocked the Censors! A Complete Record of Cuts in Motion Picture Films Ordered by the New York State Censors from January, 1932 to March, 1933."

It's available in different formats - online, PDF, Kindle, full text, etc.:

Alphabetical list of films begins on page 16, with description of scenes cut and also with the full censored dialogue. That continues to page 90 and covers a few hundred movies. Then there is a section on short films (four reels or less) that runs 8 pages.

FYI for those interested.

"i've heard it called everything but ping pong." from "Alias Mary Smith"? Come on; that's a great line! F-in' humorless jerks. Thanks for the post. I'm going to have to get back to it too, but it'll be great knowing exactly what they were up to.
