WHAT WAS THE MOST PERFECT ENDING IN MOVIES?

Recommended Posts

While I suppose it's not a perfect ending, let alone the most perfect ending, I personally like in Absolute Beginners when Eddie O'Connell takes off Patsy Kensit's wedding ring from her horrible marriage to James Fox as they're about to have sex for the first time.  It's an ending that should be better known.

"Voyage To The Bottom of The Sea" (1961)  sky went from hellish red to beautiful blue. :)

The scene where Jones was shot and falls out the window should had him landing in a Tub Grinder...would been a nice touch. :D

Watched this today in a Cinemark theatre with a TCM & Cinemark partnership with the classics. Great experience and a movie with many nuances. In the great state of Mississippi.

I'd easily have to vote for almost a 3 way (tie)

*"Casablanca" (l943-Warner Bros.)

"Modern Times" (l936-UA)

& "City Lights" (l931-UA)

(P.S. Someone should also cover "Most Perfect Beginnings"

in case I'll cast my picks>

*"The Godfather" (l972)

"Kane" (l94l-RKON Radio)

*"On the Waterfront" (l954-Columbia)

& "Apocalypse Now" (l979)

THANK YOU
