Yes Virginia, TCM will be showing a *1940 Universal Pic* tonight, HIRED WIFE starring Rosalind Russell and Brian Aherne. Later in the month, THE THING THAT WOULDN'T DIE (1958) will be shown. Now how 'bout some 30s titles (AFRAID TO TALK, DESTINATION UNKNOWN, THE CROSBY CASE, THE GREAT IMPERSONATION) and 40s Bs (ZANZIBAR, TIGHT SHOES, BOMBAY CLIPPER, ALL BY MYSELF)???

Where is "Night Walker" ? You'd think that would get restored and trotted out one of these Octobers. Directed by William Castle, starring Barbara Stanwyck and Robert Taylor, you'd think it would be seen as having some commercial value by Universal.
