slaytonf
I could swear the opening number with the chorus girls and finger puppets was used in another movie.
FredCDobbs
IMDB says: Joan of Paris (1942) Footage from the opening "Don't Let It Bother You" scene in the Parisian club is used at the start of the film. But I don't know if that the scene you are talking about.
slaytonf
I think that's it. I'll have to keep my eye out for it. I missed the opening when it was shown as part of this month's STOM series.
Ray Faiola
It is JOAN OF PARIS. The film has an ingenious opening. The main titles (and scoring) indicate a light, frothy continental picture. Then we go to the "Don't Let it Bother You" number and suddenly the screen goes black and the audience is informed of an attack.
