bhryun
Bravo for TCM and the Golden Age of Mexican Films. It reminded me of conversations with my mom, when she used to talk about the Greats, like Pedro Armendariz, Pedro Infante , Gloria Marin,Maria Felix and the great Cantinflas and Tin Tan. Wonderful Films! Thank you
path40a
Yes, thank you tcmprogrammer & staff for featuring these films during May. I've only seen a few of the many I taped during the month, but I look forward to seeing the rest (including all of last night's line-up) soon! I especially enjoyed Steinbeck's classic story "La Perla", which my daughter happened to read in school this year, and Macario!
therealfuster
for this fine Mexican festival. I've watched every week, though I've missed a few films. But what I've seen has totally transported me to a new world, inhabited by people and stories which I had never had the opportunity to see before, which were immensely entertaining and elucidating. For some strange reason, it seems that films from just about everywhere else in the world, get more tv airplay than the Mexican ones, and I really enjoyed all the great movies, and loved seeing Cantinflas last night. Bravo, TCM!

bhryun
Thank you TCM...I was able to appreciate many of the old movies my mother used to love as a young woman back in the 1950's. It would be great if TCM d would feature them once in a while...perhaps a Mexican movie late at night each week!
