Guest
The comment that I left yesterday on the Ruth Roman thread about her Murder, She Wrote appearences made me think that it is the perfect show to bring up here as there were many classic movie stars who appeared in the first eight years of the show's twelve year run. (There were some in the last four seasons, but they were not so easy to find.) My favorite the episodes are the Loretta's Beauty Parlor Episodes guest starring Miss Roman, Kathryn Grayson, Gloria de Haven, and Julie Adams, and the episode where Jessica Fletcher investigated the death of a person pretending to be her (Jane Withers) that guest starred Betty Garrett, Terry Moore, Marie Windsor, Janet Blair, and Margaret O'Brien. Does anybody else have fond memories of the show or the appearences by classic era stars?
TopBilled
My favorite is the one where Martha Scott, Jeffrey Lynn and Harry Morgan reprise their roles from STRANGE BARGAIN in a sequel-type episode. It's fun to see some of our favorite classic actors on the Lansbury series.
