A very funny movie that should be remade. Went under my radar for years before I saw it and now it's a favorite...Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn in Overboard. Spoiled princess Goldie gives working class carpenter Kurt Russell the business but does he give it back to her later on when she develops amnesia and winds up after his brainstorm with his and now her gang of rugrats. She gets his business and finds herself. Most of the movie is hilarious but after she regains her memory and leaves and regrets her departure the ending could have been better. Kurt should have stomped aboard her yacht, doused both her and her mother Katharine Helmond with buckets of cold sea water and uttered a hardy "get out to the truck! The kids are waiting". Dammit, I think she she woulda jumped in his arms and kissed him. A funny, funny film.

I agree, *Overboard* is a funny film. Goldie and Kurt are great together. The film is reminiscent of an old 30's- '40's comedy, imo

I enjoy everything about this movie, including the ending, and can watch is repeadtedly (it is on television quite a lot). The only problem: commercials!
