dischabolique
is anyone else watching this movie now? I recorded it and started an hour late, so i'm only about 13 minutes in and have had some good laughs already! (genuine not out of spite) this is the first time I've seen it. Kid Dabb
I was able to watch the beginning, I fell asleep right after they were attacked by the spider pillows in the cave. I knew I was in for a treat when the ship passed through the time warp - all the 'stringy' bouncing around was fun to watch. Wish I could have seen the cyclops. Ah well, next time. joefilmone
This movie is a lot of fun- love that in the post apocalyptic future all the women are hot and dress as cocktail waitresses. The future men are a bunch of wimps- no wonder all the babes want Rod Taylor.
Carolelover
............ I find this olde 1956 Science Fiction film to be really quite fun to watch, and I own my own dvd copy of it. ... There is not much really much of anything that could be called advanced filming in there, even from it's own time. ... It does stand out in that it was filmed in color and that Rod Taylor does make a time travel trip in it, the same situation as he would four (4) years later in the much superior 1960 Time Machine movie. ... It's fun to look back at these olde 1950's & 1960's early efforts at Sci-Fi.
