Bogie56
The BBC News has an excellent article on this lost John Wayne Republic western if anyone is interested. www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-24407455
FlyBackTransformer
> *John Wayne was the archetypal screen cowboy, embodying the rough independence of the American west for generations of film fans. Now, newly discovered still photographs offer fresh insight into a western he made that was last seen more than three-quarters of a century ago.* Wow! An honest to goodness lost John Wayne western. TCM, get cracking with the same level of enthusiasm you all would have if it was a lost early 1900s french silent. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0028068/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_115
cody1949
A few years ago at the classicflix website, a list of future Olive Films releases was presented. I am pretty sure THE OREGON TRAIL was on that list. Anyway, nothing has come of it. Also on that list was SLEEP MY LOVE. THAT too has failed to come out.
