misswonderly3
Hi casablancalover, nice to see you here. I checked out your link. I thought it was interesting that Joan Fontaine was on the list, but not her sister ! Personally, concerning that life-long sister hatred thing, I'm more sympathetic to Joan than Olivia. I'm not talking about the ladies' movies or acting chops, just who seems a little bit nicer about the whole family feud matter. Anyway, thanks for the link ! Lots of worthy people listed there. cody1949
The 3 main stars of 1950's YOUNG MAN WITH A HORN. KIRK DOUGLAS LAUREN BACALL DORIS DAY All three of them legends of Hollywood.
casablancalover2
Yes, Cody, I am glad you mentioned Kirk Douglas. he is 97.. now? Olivia was not mentioned. She is 97 like Kirk.. Maybe the poster in imdb wanted to focus on age 95. I think it wonderful she lives in quiet retirement in France. Sounds like a nice spot for it. and here's Joan Fountaine's take on their feud. She pretty manipulative in the interview and long-suffering about Olivia. Here's Olivia in THE DARK MIRROR: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgwOJMeiqYA
johnnyhouston
I'm not sure what the criteria is for inclusion in the list but I feel mention should be made of Luise Rainer, the first actor/actress to win back to back Oscars (1936 and 1937!) who is still with us at age 103!
