MilesArcher
Thanks. Here we do again with yet another list of advertising slogans and catch phrases. We may have had some of these earlier. Just name the product or company being advertised. If you are of a certain age, these should be easy. If you are too young to remember them, ask an old person! How many do you know? 1. Does she or doesn't she? 2. Let your fingers do the walking! 3. It's what's up front that counts! 4. Raise your hand if you're sure! 5. You're soaking in it! 6. Ring around the collar! 7. Cleans like a white tornado! 8. Whatever you do to the rest of us, your face belongs to ............... 9. Tastes good as fresh perked! 10. Nothin' says lovin' like something from the oven! 11. More hold with less spray! 12. Think small! 13. It's the real thing! 14. He's got Go-Power! 15. I'd rather fight than switch!

MilesArcher
Well, between Lawrence and Lavender, we have eight answers so far and all of them are correct. That means we have seven more to go. Most of these slogans are from the sixties. I thought number 15 would be pretty familiar to lots of folks. It's for a brand of cigarette. I'm sure that some folks are busy asking old folks if they know the answers. Let's hope we can get some more today.

MilesArcher
Very good, Lavender and Lawrence. We have them all now. I'm thinking that maybe this thread should be renamed old-timers trivia, and that would be fine with me. We'll give the thread to Lawrence because he got most of them. Here are a few vintage commercials in this clip. You may recognize some folks. Lawrence, you're up next.
LawrenceA
This short-lived comedy of the 1960's featured a young couple trying to make a go of married life. His job made him a personality on the airwaves, while she had to deal with a nosy, gossipy neighbor. Name the show, the stars that played the married couple, and the young actress that played the neighbor who went on to superstardom thanks to another show and a movie career. LawrenceA
Hint: another cast member of the show was a popular comedic character actor of the 1940's and early 1950's.

Julie Parrish and Jody Baker were the married couple, Ronnie Schell played the husband's partner, Billy De Wolfe would be the character actor popular in the 40's and 50's and Goldie Hawn as the neighbor. Goldie then followed up on Laugh-In and her movie career ???????????????

MilesArcher
I can think of two possibilities. Hans Conried was the voice of Captain Hook in Disney's "Peter Pan" as well as the voice of many other cartoon characters. He had a recurring role as Uncle Tonoose on "The Danny Thomas Show". Sterling Holloway was the voice of Winnie The Pooh. He had a recurring role as Waldo on "The Life Of Riley".
Terrence1
Miles, I had forgotten about Sterling Holloway. In fact, both men fit the bill. However, I had someone else in mind. Let's keep this open to see if someone can come up with the other name.
