Thanks, Lavender.  I'm sure that you knew all ten of those movie songs.

I was without power from about 11;45 AM to about 7:15 PM yesterday.  I had a few smaller branches come off some trees, but luckily no major damage.

Do you remember how Lieutenant Columbo always wanted to tie up loose ends?  Well, that's how I feel about a question that I posted a few weeks ago about guest villains on the "Batman" TV show.  I posted twenty photos, but there are more, so let's finish the list.  Just identify the name of the character and the actor or actress who portrayed that character.

It looks like we have them all now.  Just to tie up loose ends, Ida Lupino's character was Dr. Cassandra Spellcraft, and as Lavenderblue pointed out in the previous  group of villains, Anne Baxter played two different villains, Zelda The Great and Olga, Queen Of The Cossacks.  She was the only person who played two different villains.

When the "Batman" TV show first started, I didn't know about it right away.  A friend of mine from school told me about it and I started watching it.  It became a very big hit so quickly that ABC started broadcasting two episodes per week.  We still had black and white TV in my house at that time.

Thanks to everyone for playing.  Cinemaman clearly got the most so he gets to post the next question.

Cinemaman If you click on page 1 of this thread you'll see that this thread has a cutoff of 1979.  That's the way the OP wanted this thread to work. The  Colby's, Dynasty and Falcon Crest were 1980's tv shows.

Trivia questions about anything, as long as it's pre-1980.

That's the way we've been playing this thread since 2013. Out of respect for the OP we want to keep the thread the way we've always played it,  We all wanted the thread to be about retro trivia pre 1980 entertainment, so he changed it to be only about entertainment. We've been happy with this thread for 8 years. If you look at the the thread you'll see that questions do involve tv.  as long as they are pre 1980. Thanks.

A  question  for  this  thread,  wasn't  Jane  Wyman  part  of  Hollywood  Golden  Age.  Ricardo  Montalban    starting  acting  in  the  decade of  Forties .  Charlton  Heston   and  Joan  Collins  started  their  careers  in  the  Fifties.  These  stars  are  clearly before  the  1980  cutoff  period.  In  sports  there  always  changes  to  the   rule book.  My  purpose  to  have  some  fun  with  these  questions  and  enjoy  each  other's   company.  I  have  learned  a  lot  from  this  thread.  I  appreciate  you  and  hope  that  I  am  welcomed  on  this  thread.  Thanks

The issue here is the vehicle that the performers are in.

So we're going by the date of the TV show or the movie, or whatever.

And I think everyone's purpose on this website is to have fun and certainly everyone is welcome to participate and play.

I always say--

The more the merrier!
