MarshaKatz
Terrence, You not only covered all the bases but you knocked it out of the ball park for a home run. Lavendar, you're head of the class and get extra credit on the "bonus" answer "Two heads are better than one". Great job by both of you. The thread is open. Princess of Tap
Back to child stars of the 1950s. This one was all over TV as well, dramas, comedy and game shows. He also starred in some family movies. But his greatest claim to fame was a featured roll in a hit musical on Broadway. Can you name him, his Broadway show and a couple of those movies-- they were hits too?
MarshaKatz
Is the actor Michael J. Pollard? The Broadway musical would be "Bye Bye Birdie. Some of his films are "Bonne and Clyde", "Enter Laughing", "Little Fauss and Big Halsey", and "Melvin And Howard".
Princess of Tap
No, this actor was a child. This little boy was featured in the biggest Broadway show of the season. He co-starred with the biggest singer in the United States in a movie. And he was featured in one of the biggest game shows on television in the 1950's. A 70's film which centers around two characters - one a dentist and the other an FBI agent was remade again in the 2000's. Name the film; name the two actors in the original and the two actors in the remake.

Princess of Tap
This child actor of the 1950's had a brief career because his older brother was the star of a very popular sitcom. As a result, the younger brother also was featured in another sitcom. Both of them were supported in their individual sitcoms by a veteran TV character actor, who made semi-regular appearances. This actor, who made his film debut in a William Wyler movie and his TV debut as a regular in a 50's western, appeared in films with Susan Hayward, Bette Davis, and Robert Mitchum among others. However, most of his over 160 credits are from television--From the Lucy Show, 77 Sunset Strip, to dr. Kildare. Ironically, he is still best remembered for his semi-reoccurring role in the sitcom starring the child actor's older brother. Can you name the brothers, the sitcoms they were associated with and the name of the character actor who supported both of them?
MilesArcher
Jimmy Mathers, the younger brother of Jerry, appeared on the sitcom "Ichabod and Me". Jerry, of course, was the star of "Leave It To Beaver". Character actor Burt Mustin appeared in both series. He is best remembered as Gus the fireman on the Beaver show.
