Thanks.

Sticking with the "Columbo" theme, in one episode, it ends up one of Columbo's superiors was the killer,

1) Who played Columbo's superior in this episode?

2) How did Columbo trip him up?

1) Richard Kiley played his superior.

2) Columbo tripped him up by planting evidence in an apartment he rented for the purpose and changing the address of the man Kiley framed which was not his address.

LOL MIles and Thanks :)

In the '50's and 60's this actress of stage, film and tv, was a familiar face plugging products. She appeared on game shows and variety shows, one in particular and was in some films. Who was she and some of the products she plugged and the tv show she was seen frequently plugging products ???

Well, Lavender, since you've given me permission to give part of the answer, I'm thinking this is Julia Meade.  She appeared in "Pillow Tall" as one of Rock Hudson's  girllfriends.  And I think she appeared on Ed Sullivan's Show  in commercials.

Correct Terrence. Julia Meade "you are my inspiration, Marie" LOL, Julia was the one Rock takes to the Copa, but when he sees Doris dancing with Nick Adams, bye, bye Marie. Yes she did a spot on the Ed Sullivan Show called Dream Cars of the 1950's, for Lincoln and Mercury. Julia was filming Pillow Talk on the West Coast and had to fly back to the East Coast to do the spot on Sullivan's Show every week-end for months. Julia Meade was seen frequently on game shows and other shows in the 1950's and 1960's. Good work Terrence, your thread :)
