MilesArcher
Yes. Finally the question has been answered! "Tombstone Territory" ran for three seasons in the late fifties. Pat Conway played the sheriff. Here is a typical episode. In this one, Leonard Nimoy plays an Indian. Tom Browne Henry, who was recently pictured in the "Guess Who" thread, plays Mr. Griffin. DJ Beacon, it's your thread.
DJBeacon
Thanks, Miles. On the "Honeymooners", since it was filmed in front of an audience, what did Jackie Gleason do when he forgot a line and need a prompt?

DJBeacon
Hint: There was plenty of this for Jackie to work with when he forgot his lines.
DJBeacon
I'm not sure how to give any more hints, so the answer is: The Great One would pat his stomach when he forgot a line and needed a prompt. The thread is open.
Terrence1
On the first season of the TV series, a family had four sons. When the second season began, one of the four characters was dropped, and was never mentioned again. It was like he never existed. Name the series. Terrence1
DJ, that's it! I don't remember a situation like that on any other TV series. Those Barkleys certainly lived by their own rules! Your turn.
DJBeacon
How about another TV family I didn't like: The men seemed to like alcohol more than oil so they were always second best, at best, in Texas. Name the family and a one of those losers.

DJBeacon
I was referring to the loser, drunk Barnes family, like Cliff and Digger, in "Dallas" Lawrence, you had the correct TV show, so the thread is yours.
LawrenceA
This episode of an anthology TV series, written by a noted science fiction author, was later part of a lawsuit when the author sued the makers of a successful sci-fi film over the similarities between the film and the previous TV episode. Name the series, the episode, the author, and the later movie that prompted the lawsuit. For a bonus, what is another connection between this episode and another widely acclaimed sci-fi film that came later?
LawrenceA
It's been five days and no takers, so here goes: The show was The Outer Limits, the episode was "Demon with a Glass Hand", written by Harlan Ellison. The later movie that Ellison sued over similarities was 1984's The Terminator. Bonus trivia: The episode was filmed in the Bradbury Building, which would later be used to film the finale of 1982's Blade Runner. Open thread.
