LawrenceA
That last car is very nice. Next: This Oscar-winning Hollywood tough guy also starred in a popular TV police series that lasted over 100 episodes. Less memorably, he hosted another TV series a few years later that lasted only a single season. It also had a law-and-order theme. Name this actor, and both of his TV series. MilesArcher
The first thing that comes to mind is Lee Marvin. He starred in a detective series called "M Squad" in the late fifties. He later hosted a show called "The Lawbreakers", where they presented re-enactments of actual crimes.

MilesArcher
Thanks. I remember that in "M Squad", Lee Marvin played Lt. Frank Ballinger, a big city police detective, and the show was sponsored by Pall Mall cigarettes. Now, in a 1950's Disney movie, the lead characters become parents of a son at the end of the picture. That son character later had his own long running comic strip and appeared in a series of comic books. Can you name him?

Princess of Tap
Annette Funicello once sang a song with The Beach Boys. Can you name the song? This was goodbye for me because it was my last Disney matinée. Now I was just getting too big and too old for the children's movies-- But never too old for The Beach Boys - - The Monkey's Uncle
MilesArcher
That's the one, Princess. Both the song and the movie are titled "The Monkey's Uncle". The movie was a sequel to "The Misadventures Of Merlin Jones". Here's a clip with the song: I don't think it made the list of the Beach Boys greatest hits. You're up next, Princess. It's not on the Beach Boys Greatest Hits list because our genius composer Brian Wilson did not write it. Next-- once you start me with the Beach Boys I can't stop. For one brief glorious TV season there was a TV series in which The Beach Boys performed the theme song. What we need here is the name of the show, the star of the show and the network. Princess of Tap
Lav, you are always right! Jack Marshall, the professional composer who wrote Karen, did a terrific job imitating Brian Wilson. Lav, you are up--
MilesArcher
The mid-sixties must have been the time for shows about perky teens. You may remember "Gidget" and "The Patty Duke Show". After "Karen", Debbie Watson did another series called "Tammy", based on the Tammy movies. I was able to find a clip from "Karen", so you could hear The Beach Boys. If you watch the clip, you will see a young Bonnie Franklin as Karen's friend, Charlotte. By the way, it was also the series where Richard Dreyfuss made his first appearance on either TV or movies. Lavender, it's still your turn.

MilesArcher
Is it Paul Burke? He was in "12 O'Clock High" and "The Naked City" in the sixties. Both were based on 1940's movies. In the fifties, he appeared in "Noah's Ark", "Harbormaster" and "Five Fingers". All three of those series had short runs. The Susan Hayward movie that he was in was "Valley Of The Dolls".
