Arturo
This Wednesday, November 27, Fox Movie Channel will feature this Elia Kazan movie twice, at 4 AM and 1 PM eastern. Other titles that haven't been aired there in awhile that day are SHOCK, BELOVED INFIDEL and A HATFUL OF RAIN. Coming in the next couple of weeks are the previously noted THE EGYPTIAN, and THE ROOTS OF HEAVEN, as well as THE DARK CORNER, MAN ON A TIGHTROPE, and possibly SWEET AND LOWDOWN. mrroberts
Lee Remick is so great in Wild River. And Jo Van Fleet is very convincing as the old grandmother.
Vertigo2
And don't forget Montgomery Clift's sensitive performance. Whatever his personal problems he was always compelling on screen.
Lorry_Driver
I wonder if the people on the Fox Movie Channel message board, if one does exist, are talking about the films to be shown on Turner Classic Movies? Just a thought.
