roverrocks
I greatly enjoyed the sad gritty DAYS OF BEING WILD (1991) shown last night. Well acted IMO and had a real emotionally evocative quality to it what with all the silent thoughts from all the characters. Portrays a very lonely world where finding roots and love and happiness are tough. Good movie. As always movies in different languages and from cultures and places on the far side of the world give us windows into our own life experiences. Thanks for showing this fine film TCM. FredCDobbs
This film reminded me of sort of a French or Italian new-wave "art" film of the late 1950s or early 60s. Sort of a low-life film, something like an Italian neo-realism film of the early 50s or late 40s. I'll bet the director saw a bunch of those old Italian and French films. SwedeGuy27
I also greatly enjoyed this film. Loved the actors, loved the music. Please show more Wong Kar Wei!
AndyM108
I'll third it. It's especially nice to see a movie like this shown in prime time instead of being relegated to 4 o'clock in the morning..
