Can someone help me remember this film?

Hello! I am hoping someone out there may know something about a film I saw a good 20+ years ago. Unfortunately I cannot remember the title, if it was silent, or if it was a short or full length film. The only specifics I do remember are that it was black and white, and there was a gentleman in a park, near a tree that said, "Suicide Park". I have tried countless searches and have turned up empty every time. Thanks so much in advance!

I did a google search and there is such a sign on a tree in a forest in Japan. But it didn't mention any movie.

A wild a** guess here.. Double Suicide (1969)

 

This is Japanese black and white with character suicides.

 

There is a very real place in Japan where people go to take their life - The Suicide Woods of Mt. Fuji. They are woods - not a park. I don't know if that place is in this film.

The only film I can think of that your description reminds me of is a 1931 Warner Bros./Vitaphone short called ONE WAY OUT.

Some of it does take place in a park and I believe there is a sign that says National Suicide Park, or something like that.

TCM has shown this short occasionally over the years, but not often. So you very possibly could have seen it on TCM.
