Sepiatone
The other night, TCM showed the '49 Wayne Morris movie THE HOUSE ACROSS THE STREET. In it, there was a scene that showed a bartender with six martini glasses lined up in front of him. And I started snickering. My wife asked me, "What's so funny?", and I said, "That scene just reminded me of a PUNCHLINE." "If SIX don't get the taste outa my mouth..." Fedya
Nora Charles: What hit me? Nick Charles: The sixth martini. *The House Across the Street* is pretty much the same story as *Love Is on the Air*, Ronald Reagan's debut movie which is coming on on December 14. Both are remakes of *Hi Nellie* starring Paul Muni and Glenda Farrell.
