marylovesclassics
I don't think I'm the only one who feels this way, but will post this anyway, at this risk of being repetitive............... This feature is one of the best, if in fact you can say something positive and appreciate a piece on those who have passed. I'm not familiar with the music. Does anyone know who it is that sings this unique song? I just wanted to say, well done, TCM, well done! marylovesclassics
HoldenIsHere
The song is "In the Embers" by Sleeping At Last. It is very moving. I'm glad they were able to include Joan Fontaine and Peter O'Toole in the tribute. Was there an earlier version without the two of them?

marylovesclassics
Hello and thank you for your reply. In response to your question yes, there was an earlier version as I posted it on my Facebook page on December 11, 2013. Joan Fontaine passed December 15th and Peter O'Toole passed December 14th. Funny though, when I went back to search this post, it now shows the updated version with those included.
