vecchiolarry
Good Morning Feaito, I have just met a very delightful man and his wife, Eduardo and Elena Chadwick from Chile. They are winegrowers, winemakers -- vintners from the Casablanca region there and came to Vancouver, then Calgary to present their wines. Calgary had a wine and cheese tasting party last night, hence our meeting them!! They showed many pictures of Chile, top to bottom, and I loved that custom where you kiss the toe of a statue in the southern most city of Chile (**** Arenas??) to say that you will return... Great looking country, very lush and fertile, and so mountainous (I love mountains!). Just thought I'd let you know that I've learned something about Chile; I like learning about new places. South America seems to be forgotten now-a-days, but Canada does a great trade now with Chile especially. Have a grand day, Feaito! Larry
feaito
Good afternoon Larry, Thanks for the post and for complimenting my country. Chile is very well known in some countries because of its wines and there are many winegrowers and a huge varety of brands. Chile has also many different sights & climates: desert, mountains, beaches of all sorts, countryside, big cities, forests, glaciars, etc. We even have Eastern Island and the Chilean Antartic Territory. Have a great day too!
